Dünya Fantezi Ödülü 2013 Adayları Açıklandı
31 Ekim – 3 Kasım 2013 tarihleri arasında İngiltere’nin Brighton şehrinde gerçekleştirilecek World Fantasy Convention‘da verilecek ödüller için adaylar açıkladı.
1975 yılından beri süregelen ve en eski fantastik etkinliklerden biri olarak gösterilen World Fantasy Convention’da, fantastik edebiyata, bilgisayar oyunlarına ve fantazyanın bir çok alt koluna yer veren büyük bir etkinlik.
Etkinlik içerisinde verilen ödüllerde bir o kadar prestijli olarak kabul edilmekte ve ödülü kazananlar da kendilerine fantazya dünyasında önemli bir yer kazanmakta. Neil Gaiman, Stephen King, Michael Moorcock, George R.R. Martin, Anne Rice, Ursula K. Le Guin gibi ünlü yazarların da kazandığı bu ödülün şekli ise H.P. Lovecraft’ın ufak bir büstü. Böylece usta korku yazarı da bir ömür boyu onurlandırılmış oluyor.
Bu sene, geçtiğimiz ay aramızdan ayrılan usta yazar Richard Matheson Onur Konuğu olarak anılacak. Susan Cooper ve Tanith Lee de Ömür Boyu Başarı Ödülü alacaklar.
