BAFTA Ödülleri 2024 Kazananları Belli Oldu – Oppenheimer ve Poor Things Zirvede!
Londra’da düzenlenen BAFTA Ödülleri 2024, sinema dünyasının önemli isimlerini bir araya getirdi. Oppenheimer, toplamda yedi altın BAFTA maskesiyle gecenin yıldızı oldu, en iyi film ödülünü evine götürdü ve yönetmen Christopher Nolan ile oyuncu Cillian Murphy‘ye ödüller kazandırdı. İkinci sırada ise beş galibiyetle Poor Things yer aldı.
Törenin Açılışı ve BAFTA Başkanı
Törende BAFTA Başkanı Sarah Putt, Galler Prensesi Catherine’in ameliyat sonrası istirahatte olması nedeniyle Prens William’ın katılımıyla açılışı gerçekleştirdi. Prens William, özel hayatındaki gelişmeler nedeniyle konuşma yapmadı.
David Tennant ve İlginç Skeç
Törenin sunucusu Doctor Who yıldızı David Tennant, Good Omens dizisindeki başrol oyuncusu arkadaşı Michael Sheen‘in köpeği Bark Ruffalo ile önceden kaydedilmiş bir skeçle gösteriyi açtı. Tennant, Barbie’ye gönderme yaparak gecenin esprili anlarına imza attı.
Özel Performanslar ve Anma Bölümü
Sophie Ellis-Bextor‘un “Murder on the Dancefloor” performansı ve Ted Lasso yıldızı Hannah Waddingham‘ın özel cover’ı, gecenin dokunaklı anlarından biriydi. In Memoriam bölümünde ise Tina Turner ve Michael Gambon gibi yıldızlar anıldı.
Michael J Fox’un Duygusal Anı
Michael J Fox, Oppenheimer’a verilen en iyi film ödülünü sunmak üzere sahneye çıkarak gecenin zirvesini yaşadı. Tekerlekli sandalyeyle sahneye gelen Fox, uzun süren alkışlarla karşılandı ve “Filmler sihirli, gününüzü değiştirebilir, hatta hayatınızı bile değiştirebilirler” dedi.
