Bilimkurgu ve fantastik edebiyatın önde gelen ödüllerinden biri olan Locus Ödülleri bu yıl da sahiplerini buldu. 2025 Locus Ödülleri kazananları açıklandı.
Bu yılki Locus Ödülleri, Locus Bilimkurgu Vakfı tarafından Locus Ödülleri Haftasonu etkinliği kapsamında düzenlenen törenle açıklandı. Hafta sonu boyunca düzenlenen okuma seansları, paneller, atölye çalışmaları ve özel programlar ile bilimkurgu ve fantastik edebiyat tutkunları bir araya geldi. Etkinliğin sunuculuğunu yazar Gail Carriger üstlenirken Sarah Gailey ve Tochi Onyebuchi onur konukları olarak yer aldı. Yerel yazar olarak Kemi Ashing-Giwa, yerel sanatçı olarak ise Stephanie Law öne çıkan isimler oldu.
Bu yıl kazanan eserler ve yazarlar, türün güncel ve yaratıcı örneklerini bir kez daha öne çıkardı.
En İyi Bilimkurgu Romanı Kategorisinde Ödül Alexander Boldizar’a Gitti
2025 Locus Ödülleri’nde En İyi Bilimkurgu Romanı kategorisinde kazanan eser Alexander Boldizar’ın yazdığı The Man Who Saw Seconds adlı roman oldu. Bu kategoride yarışan diğer güçlü adaylar arasında James S.A. Corey’nin The Mercy of Gods, Adrian Tchaikovsky’nin Alien Clay ve Jeff VanderMeer’in Absolution adlı romanları bulunuyordu.
Fantastik Roman Dalında T. Kingfisher Öne Çıktı
Fantastik roman kategorisinde ödül, T. Kingfisher’ın A Sorceress Comes to Call adlı eseriyle sahibini buldu. Bu kategoride Lev Grossman, Robert Jackson Bennett ve Sarah Rees Brennan gibi tanınmış yazarlar da adaylar arasındaydı.
En İyi Korku Romanı Ödülü Chuck Tingle’a Verildi
Korku edebiyatı kategorisinde bu yılın galibi Chuck Tingle oldu. Yazarın Bury Your Gays adlı romanı, rakipleri arasında öne çıkarak ödüle layık görüldü. Bu kategoride Stephen Graham Jones, Josh Malerman ve Paul Tremblay gibi isimler de aday gösterilmişti.
