2025 Locus Ödülleri Finalistleri Açıklandı

Edebiyat dünyasının en prestijli takdirlerinden biri olarak kabul edilen ve türün profesyonelleri ile okurlarını bir araya getiren 2025 Locus Ödülleri finalistleri resmen duyuruldu. Locus dergisi tarafından her yıl düzenlenen ve spekülatif kurgu türündeki en iyi eserleri belirleyen ödüller, bu yıl da bilimkurgu, fantastik ve korku edebiyatının dev isimlerini bir araya getirdi. 1 Şubat – 1 Nisan tarihleri arasında gerçekleşen açık oylama sonucunda, her kategoride ilk on sıraya giren finalistler belirlendi.

Ödül töreninin, 30 Mayıs 2026 tarihinde Kaliforniya’nın Berkeley kentinde, Bay Area Kitap Festivali ortaklığıyla gerçekleştirileceği açıklandı. Sektörün nabzını tutan bu ödüller, sadece yazarları değil; editörleri, illüstratörleri ve yayıncıları da onurlandırarak türün gelişimine büyük katkı sağlıyor.

Spekülatif Kurgunun Zirvesindeki İsimler

Bu yılın finalist listesinde, türün emektar yazarlarından John Scalzi ve Adrian Tchaikovsky gibi isimlerin yanı sıra, son yılların yükselen yıldızı R.F. Kuang ve korku edebiyatının yaşayan efsanesi Stephen King dikkat çekiyor. Locus Ödülleri, özellikle “İlk Roman” ve “Genç Yetişkin” kategorileriyle sektöre yeni kan pompalayan yetenekleri keşfetmesiyle tanınıyor.
